Job Description: Vice President (Finance and Administration)

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective financial management and control.

  2. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with organizational goals.

  3. Manage financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, cash flow management, and financial reporting.

  4. Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support decision-making, investment planning, and business growth initiatives.

  5. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies, implementing appropriate controls and risk management practices.

  6. Lead the administration function, overseeing facilities management, procurement, contracts, and vendor management.

  7. Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and process improvement initiatives.

  8. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance, efficiency, and effectiveness of administrative processes.

  9. Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other financial institutions.

  10. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance and administration team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

 

Experience Required:

  1. Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, such as Vice President of Finance, CFO, or similar.

  2. Strong financial management expertise, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

  3. Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.

  4. Experience in managing financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, cash flow management, and financial reporting.

  5. Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

  6. Familiarity with risk management practices, internal controls, and audit processes.

  7. Proficiency in financial software and tools for financial analysis and reporting.

  8. Experience in leading the administration function, overseeing facilities management, procurement, and vendor management.

  9. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.

  10. Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA are preferred.

  8. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior leadership, external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions to maintain strong relationships and ensure compliance.

  9. Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance and administration team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

  10. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance financial efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy.
